The pool opens no later than the first of December each year and closes no earlier than the day following the Labour Day Holiday in March.

SUPERVISION:
The Cobram Outdoor Swimming Pool provides a minimum of two lifeguards on duty at any one time. All staff are first aid qualified.
WATCH AROUND THE WATER POLICY
Children under 10-
Children under the age of ten are required to have adult supervision in addition to the lifeguard. The adult must be ACTIVELY supervising the child, and must therefore be able to see them at all times. Children under the age of ten without adult supervision will not be permitted to enter the centre.
Children under 5-
Parents/guardians of children under 5 must be in the water with the child at all times. The child must remain within arms reach of their accompanying parent/guardian at all times whilst in the water to ensure their safety.

WEATHER POLICY:
Cold Weather-
The outdoor pool will only open when the local news forecast as at 9am (the same day) is to be over 25 degrees celsius.
Should the pool open and the temperature then drop to below 25 degrees and there are ten patrons or less in attendance, the outdoor pool may close early at the discretion of the Facility Supervisor
Hot Weather-
Pool opening hours will be extended until 8.00pm on days where the temperature forecast is 38°C or above (as determined by local radio).
Hours may be extended on such days until 9pm depending on patronage.
